Partner Visa - Price Increase 2023

During the 2023 Federal Budget one significant announcement is the increase in Visa Application Charges (VACs) for those seeking to lodge partner visas.

The Australia government have announced a price increase by an estimated 6% in line with CPI index.

The primary applicant for a partner or marriage visa will now pay an estimated $8570.00 to the government. In our view the increase will present many challenges for potential applicants who are already stressed over cost of living increases,

Visas Impacted By Price Increase:

  • Onshore Partner visa: subclass 820/801

  • Offshore Partner visa: subclass 309/100

  • Prospective Marriage Visa: subclass 300
